From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a beautiful and well-kept office that instantly made me feel at ease. The cleanliness of the facility was remarkable, and it was evident that they prioritize maintaining a pristine environment. Gretel and Shelly at the front desk introduced themselves and welcomed me to the office. Both were very kind and proficient. Scheduling my apt, check in, initial new patient forms and check out were all seamless and pleasant. During my appointment, I had the pleasure of being seen by RDH Tami, who truly stood out with her gentle and thorough approach. Her kind demeanor and attention to detail made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly and address any concerns I had, ensuring that I felt well taken care of. Furthermore, my experience with Dr. Rikli was equally great. His warm and friendly nature instantly made me feel welcomed, and I appreciated the genuine care he showed towards his patients. The appointment was quick and efficient, but not at all rushed. It was evident that they value providing high-quality care without compromising on patient comfort. I was also able to chat with the owner, Dr. Carter. He is very personable and really cares deeply about the experience that each of his patience have in his office. Overall, I am incredibly grateful to have found this dental office. The entire appointment was streamlined and stress-free, allowing me to feel relaxed during my visit. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in search of a dental office that combines professionalism, cleanliness, and a friendly atmosphere.

This is the BEST dental office I have ever been too. I have had a bad experience at a different dentist and so I came in very nervous. They are all very kind to me. Didn’t try to do anything that I asked them not to do. They talked over everything before hand and made me as comfortable as possible. I am very grateful. I would recommend them to everyone!

I am terrified of the dentist but must admit that seeing Dr. Carter and his staff for the first time was actually a pleasant experience. They made me feel not only relaxed but secure...which is hard to do. I have no anxiety about going to my next appointment. Wow--what can I say that would accurately describe my experience. Since I was young I have had a deep seeded phobia about the dentist, but the staff at Northgate Dental has been amazing. From the very moment I walked in the door the first day, the staff has greeted me and made me feel so comfortable. Everyone there is warm and welcoming and thoroughly answered all my questions and concerns. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. Over the course of my military career, I have experienced quite a few dentists during that time - some good, some not so good. Unfortunately, due to those experiences I have developed a somewhat disliking of "going to the dentist". That was until I recently retired and started visiting Dr. Carter's Northgate Dental on a regular basis. Although my family has been going there for several years now, I now am a regular too and am absolutely thrilled with my experiences, especially this week.
The staff at Northgate Dental are pleasant to deal with and very professional. I am always informed ahead of time what all of my options are and Tommy makes sure all the I's are dotted and the T's are crossed so I always know before my procedure what I will be financially responsible for, and what my insurance will cover - there are never any surprises. During this week's visit, Kristen was so awesome I completely forgot I was at the dentist! I even joked with her and said "I feel like I am at the spa". Although the procedure I was undergoing was rather intense, I was so comfortable and relaxed something uncommon for me to experience at the dentist.
Dr. Carter has assembled an awesome team; created a pleasant environment; utilizes state of the art equipment; pays attention to the details; and most importantly he takes care of the client, delivering excellence with every one of my visits. I cannot thank the team over at Northgate Dental enough for what they do!

The best dental experience I have ever had. They are so nice and so professional at the same time. They now do same day permanent crowns which is fantastic. It is so nice to not have to worry about wearing temps and then going back in to get the permanent ones in. Dr. Carter and his staff are the best!

The staff at Northgate Dental is top notch. They're not there just to get you in and out of the seat, they take the time to get to know you, your family and how to best make you comfortable while being at the dentist office. I'd had plenty of bad experiences in the past with dentists and my last experience with Northgate Dental getting 7 cavities (yes... 7) filled made me a customer for life because they took the extra time and effort to make sure I was comfortable during the procedure.

Where to even begin?!
First off I would like to say that I am a person who takes comfort in a clean and well kept doctors or dentist office because it lets me know they care about their space and their patients. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out everything you see is immaculately kept. Clean surfaces, newer equipment etc.
The staff greets you immediately and is very professional and caring. Never once did I feel like just another patient. Shelly sat and personally talked with me about my bad experience that's kept me from going to the dentist regularly. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time.
I had a deep cleaning and a full new patient work up and I cannot express my gratitude enough to Mari and the staff. I specifically remember having my teeth worked on thinking "Could it be? Am I ACTUALLY fully relaxed at the dentist and having an amazing dental experience?"
Mari did an exquisite job on my deep clean. Not once (no seriously) not once was I in even a small amount of pain. She was very thorough and was constantly making sure I was okay.
I go back on Thursday to get the other half of my cleaning done and I can't believe I'm going to say this but, I'm not afraid! 🙂

Northgate Dental is amazing! After searching for a dental practice that offered sedation, I was fortunate to find this practice. Dr. Carter and his entire staff are friendly, professional, and understanding of my anxiety about being at the dentist. I just started my first round of restorative treatment and I actually am looking forward to the next round because of my experience. Thank you Northgate Dental for helping me through the treatment process and leaving me with a smile on my face as I walk out the door every time. Dr. Carter even took the time after hours to call and check on me. Above and beyond my expectations!

The new location is just amazing!!! I can't be surprised because Dr. Carter only wants the best for his patients! Ok, this is my second review. I wanted to add a few things about the new location.
1. The chairs have massage!!! WHAT!!! Yes!
2. The rinse water is warm! I can honestly say no dentist I have ever gone to had warm water for rinse during the procedure. It has always been cold...till now. For me this was a huge comfort!
3. The equipment is even better then the other location. Hard to believe but true.
4. Decor, atmosphere...everything needs 10 stars!!!
I was so lucky to visit on the visit the first day they were at the new location. I loved it!!!

From the day I phoned to each appointment, I was always treated with respect. They are a professional dental office with caring staff. They even took the time to sign a birthday card for me, which included a $5 gift card to a local (healthy) yogurt place. I had a dental appointment on my birthday of all days, but they made it feel particularly special. So KUDOS to all the staff & particularly to Dr. Carter, who genuinely takes an interest in the well-being of the health of your teeth/mouth.

Dr. Carter, I want you to know that I received excellent treatment today. The process wasn't totally painless, but bearable. I would like to share my appreciation for Bev's skill at building my temporary bridge. I have had dozens of temporaries in my time and never had one that required no adjustments. She was spot on.
