Chrissie, EDDA

Chrissie is our Lead Clinical Assistant. Her experience and compassion shows in everything she does. She is very knowledgeable about dentistry and makes a point to understand the treatment of each of her patients. Don't miss her Smile Makeover!

Chrissie graduated from PPCC Dental Assisting program in 2004 and received her EDDA certification (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant) a year later. She is nationally certified with DANB (Dental Assistant's National Board). She completed training in Advanced Airway Management and IV catheterization in 2008, and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) training in 2009. Chrissie has been in the chair as a patient many times in her life and her own dental experiences have given her an understanding and a grace when dealing with people who are undergoing major dental treatment. You won't find a more caring and empathetic friend. See the dental reconstruction that Northgate Dental did for her recently...

"I have a great passion to help scared patients walk through their fear. Being a dental phobic myself helps me relate to how people feel about the dentist. The most rewarding thing for me is to see the emotion when people smile and love what they see in the mirror. Changing someone's smile can change the way they look at themselves. Northgate Dental is the office I had been searching for. Northgate is my wonderful home away from home."

Chrissie is married to Steve and she has a son, Joshua who is attending Kennesaw State University in Georgia. They think he is pretty awesome!! When she is not at work Chrissie and Steve enjoy camping and motorcycles -- yes, she has her own. She grew up in upstate New York, but she is so in love with Colorado she is a permanent transplant.
