Chris

Chris joined our team early in 2011 and quickly earned the respect and appreciation of her team mates and the patients. With twenty three years of experience and countless hours of training, she brings both skill and personality to our team.

Chris graduated 1988 top of her class from Parkland College Dental Hygiene School with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She was awarded the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler for clinical excellence; she has completed twelve hours or more of post degree education every year since graduation; completed local anesthetic training in 1988; Nitrous Oxide training in 1993 & 2006. In 2006 she received her certification in laser use for soft tissue therapy from World Laser Dentistry and in 2006 from the Academy of Laser Dentistry. In 2009 she attended the mastership program Periodontal Care for Dental Hygienist from JP Institute. Needless to say NGD feels priveledged to welcome Chris to our team.

Chris has been married to her best friend Mark for 25 years and they have two boys, Alex (18) and Nick (16). Alex is a varsity player for Rampart High School basketball. He will attend CSU business school in the fall of 2011. Nick swims for Rampart and Falfins and is a youth elite triathlete. Both boys and their father are accomplished musicians, as well. They and the family dog, Nala, love to head to the mountains to hike and ski.
