Candace, Office Admin/EDDA

Candace started with Northgate Dental in 2004, took some time off and now she is back. She is a skilled and certified Expanded Duties Assistant, but you are more likely to speak to her at the front desk about your appointment or dental fees.

Candace is one of our most versatile team members. She might greet you on the phone when you call in, she may assist you in acquiring financing for your dental treatment, or she may start your IV in sedation. She wears a lot of hats.

Candace graduated in 2000 from Wasson High School. She received her EDDA (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant) certification from Pikes Peak Community College in 2006. Candace completed ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), Advanced Airways Management, and IV Catheterization training in 2008. She has been working in Dentistry since 2001 and brings a lot of experience to our office.

Candace first joined Northgate Dental in 2004 as a Dental Assistant. In 2008 she assumed the duties of Office Administrator. Having started in the clinical aspect of dentistry and then moving into administration, she is very familiar with the flow and production needs of Northgate Dental. This allows her to manage our schedule so that, as a team, we can effectively meet all of our individual patient's needs in a timely manner.

Candace says, "As a patient of Dr Dodsworth myself, and having experienced how he changed my life and my confidence with dentisry, it is so rewarding to know that we can be a part of a positive change in our patient's lives."

Candace is a Colorado Springs native, and most of her family still lives here also. She loves taking her furry kiddo Roxy to the park and watching her run like crazy for her tennis ball. As a sun worshiper, she loves our Colorado summers and hits the pool as much as possible. She loves shopping, her trucks, camping, fishing, the lake, and ANYTHING to do with her Denver Broncos.
