What
can I expect at my first appointment?
 Your first visit to our office is scheduled exclusively with Dr. Dodsworth.
During this appointment—which usually lasts about 1 ½ hours—he
will gather thorough health and dental history information and give you a complete
exam. This exam includes an oral cancer screening, check for function of teeth, chewing, pain, head and neck pain, chronic pain, and occlusion. We’ll also take any necessary
radiographs and impressions, as well as talk about what the patient wants and expects. A consultation is separate and usually lasts about 1 hour.
Just as important is the time that Dr. Dodsworth spends talking with
you about what you’re looking for in your dental care. We don’t
expect every person who walks in our door to want the same thing; we
want to hear exactly what you need and discuss any of your concerns.
This comprehensive first visit allows us to draw up a treatment plan
exclusively for you—one that fits your needs, desires and budget.
